Digital Marketing Internship (Contract Role)

Location: Nelson, New Zealand (Hybrid Work)

Are you currently studying marketing and eager to gain hands-on industry experience? We're looking for a proactive and creative Digital Marketing Intern to support our social media and digital marketing efforts.

This is a contract-based internship, ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in a real-world marketing environment. While the role starts with just a few hours per week, there is potential for growth as you gain experience and take on more responsibilities.

What you'll be doing:

Content Scheduling: Assist in scheduling and managing social media posts across various platforms.
Monthly Reporting: Support with data collection and analysis for marketing reports.
Social Media Trend Research: Stay on top of industry trends, emerging content formats, and viral marketing opportunities.
Community Management: Monitor social media accounts, engage with followers, and respond to messages.
User-Generated Content (UGC) Creation (Optional): Assist in filming and creating engaging Reels and short-form content.
Website Edits (training provided): Make edits across a range of CMS platforms, including Squarespace, WordPress, and Wix.

What we're looking lor:

Currently studying marketing, communications, or a related field.
Passionate about digital marketing and social media.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Creative mindset and willingness to learn.
Basic experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
Video content creation experience is a bonus but not required.
